Basic How-To
JobJSON organizes jobs and job seekers using structured data.
At its core, JobJSON is a matching service — connecting job seekers and open positions through structured, machine-readable information. The “JSON” in JobJSON stands for JavaScript Object Notation, a lightweight data format used by developers and AI systems to store information in a predictable, organized structure.
If you’ve ever read the old newspaper classifieds, you already understand the concept. The employment classifieds were divided into sections: “Construction,” “Healthcare,” “Technology”. Under each one, you’d find listings sorted by relevance or title. You didn’t have to scan the whole paper; you went straight to the section that mattered to you.
JobJSON works the same way, only digitally. Each job or profile is stored as a small, structured data object that contains all the key details — location, category, experience, and preferences. The system automatically files these objects into their proper “sections” so both people and software can find what they’re looking for instantly, without wading through irrelevant results.
In plain terms: JobJSON transforms unstructured listings and résumés into organized, searchable profiles — the modern equivalent of a well-indexed classifieds system built for the AI era.
Here’s how to get started:
-
Build Your Profile
Start by choosing your Market Area (location) and a Job Category.
This forms the foundation of your profile and ensures you’re placed in the right local pool.
-
For Job Seekers
Create a concise profile (no résumé upload needed). Include:
- Market Area (Locality)
- Job Category (Industry)
- Resume Summary or Synopsis
- Work preferences (remote, relocation, etc.)
- Job Status (Looking for work, full-time, part-time, etc.)
-
For Employers
Build a Company Profile. Add:
- Company details
- Designated HR or hiring manager contact
- Job postings with titles, skills, and descriptions
-
Matching and Control
Once profiles are live, JobJSON connects employers with candidates through structured data — no clutter, no wasted time.
Job seekers stay private until they choose to share; employers only see organized, relevant matches.
First step: enter → select::market area and select::job category
Follow these steps to unlock jobJSON.ai features and start matching with employers.
Structured Data Relationships
JobJSON.ai organizes data using JSON objects that represent job postings and job seeker profiles. Each object includes attributes like title, location, category, and skills. This structured format allows AI systems and search engines to interpret relationships between employers, jobs, and job seekers for enhanced discoverability.
